Encouragement

Many mornings I wake up, take a deep breath and think...I’m going to make a difference in someone’s life today, my day goes by and I see myself frustrated for not achieving my goal, or for other circumstances that also frustrates me.

About 10 days ago a devastating earthquake hit Haiti, and I was constantly thinking of the people of that country, thoughts like, “Why did that happened”, “how are they are going to rebuilt”, “what about all the pain of lost of family, and loved ones”.

Sometimes I get myself discouraged. I read something that missionaries that were in Haiti during the earthquake wrote and some of them were de to be light in a world of darkness as well. At that moment a Bible verse came to my heart,

“Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” I Corinthians 15:58

This verse encouraged me and reminded me that all we do for The Lord is not in vain. We can’t forget as well that heaven is not here and things are not going to be perfect, The word of God tells us that things are going to get worse, and as transformation agents and witness of Jesus we have to focus in serving Him with our all!

Do not forget my dear sister, all you do to our Lord is precious!
