Newborn


Have you ever felt frustrated, tired, and hopeless? If you have or had a newborn at home, you know exactly the feeling. You may have thought “is my baby all right? Is he/she getting enough milk? Am I doing it right? Why is he/she crying?
Having a baby is a big change in our lives, I have a 6 week old baby girl, and it’s amazing how much I’ve learned in such a short period of time.

An interest thing that Julia’s (my daughter) pediatrician told me is that if I time the period that she is crying, it’s usually not more than 15 minutes. And let me tell you, sometimes it seems like hours, but it’s really not!

One of the fun things I enjoy is sharing the mamahood experience with some friends that are fresh young moms just like me. It’s so nice to be reminded that I’m not the only one in this adventurous journey, and how comforting it is when I hear “aw my son is doing the same”, or “my daughter passed that phase and her colics are gone”.

Thinking about the verse found in Isaiah 40:31a “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” How great it is to seek the Lord and be refreshed by His Holly Spirit, making us all ready and new for another day, or night J
