4th month of life

Today I thank God with all my heart for the beautiful healthy and smart little girl he gave me! No words in the world can express my love and thankfulness for this treasure!

She just had her 4 month visit at the doctors, Dr Kate is very sweet and Julia always smiles for her, specially because Dr Kate said she can start eating cereal :)

She is 25.2in (64cm) long and 12.5lb (5.7k)

ghghghgh evening!

This evening was soooooo ghghghgh, allow me to explain, lol
Rafa and I got back from work, and had "relax in the couch in mind" since we have been really tired lately. Our new neighbors (again) had a super laud TV on. Rafa asked me to go talk to them, since the last time he was the one knocking at their door.

After coming in our living room and hearing his TV, he said "I'm sorry but I'm not gonna turn the volume down, the TV is not that loud, those walls are the problem, it's to think.". I replied: "I'm sorry to bother you, but we have a 4 month old baby as well, and it's not the first time, the volume is REAllY loud, could you just turn down a little?!" He said he didn't care about what we felt, or the baby, He had 4 kids too.

Are you serious????? I wanted to punch his forehead! Our village is so nice to live in, we never had issues like that! I took a extra deep breath, and prayed! I actually just asked the Lord for love in my heart for our new neighbors! My cousin Becca said they needed some Jesus! Ohhh yes, they did! After prayers and deep breaths the neighbor came in again and apologize! Yessssssss Jesus! He even invited us to watch soccer in his 57"TV!

You know, even when we want to punch foreheads, if we lay that to Jesus, we'll be at the same time allowing Him to fill our hearts with His amazing love, and a ghghghghg evenings can turn into shaking hands and kind words! I am soooo glad I didn't punch his forehead! lol!!!

Marcela :)

For about 20 days we had Marcela from brazil visiting us, she is such a nice happy young lady! She helped us baby siting julia, and much more at The Salvation army. Her wiliness to serve and humbleness left a mark in our hearts! It's cool to hear so many from our church asking if Marcela is coming back to visit.

That made me think what are the impressions others have about me. Not because of me, but because the difference God makes in my life, from the simple actions to the big ones. Thanks Marcela for being a witness of Christ. It encourages me to be more positive and to love the Lord to the full in this new year!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR :)
