$ Money


I am going trough the book of Esther in my personal Bible study, and today I felt so blessed and challenged by it that I would like to share with you my dear sisters in Christ!

At the beginning of the book of Esther chapter 1 verse 1-9 we read about the king Xerxes, and we can easily notice that the king was arrogant and liked to display his money and vast wealth. I searched through the Bible and found some interest passages that talk about money:

Proverbs 30:7-9; Shows us that money can apart us from God.
Proverbs 31:20; Teaches us to share and be generous with what we have.
Philippians 4:11-13; Remind us that God is our true and only good.


Talking about money…what is your current situation? Do you live with a big budget, or a small one? Read those Bible passages, think how they encourage you to deal with your finances.
After reading this sentence bellow, think and answer:
“People tend to look for 4 qualities in others: Wisdom, determination, goodness and money, but God points as a priority to get to know Him personally and to have a life that reflects His justice and goodness. What would you like people to see when they look at you?

“I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”
