Today's Bible Study at church talked about the decision of being positive about circumstances around you. Being positive does not come naturally, but being negative does! I liked the author's quote: (Wood, Cindi; The Frazzled Female)
"I realized that it was no easy thing to get rid of negative thinking. I frequently had to trash the negative thoughts. I can tell you this created plenty of room to store the positive ones. And if I didn't hurry and put the positive ones in the negative ones would rush back in to fill the space! Our minds cannot hold a void. Something has to be in there!"
What do you want your Something to be?! Well, I asked myself this question, and the answer is the Scriptures! The first verse that came to my mind was my blog's title verse found in Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things."
Matthew 12:34 says: "For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. Let's fill our hearts with true, noble, right, pure, lovely and admirable things :)
